Volunteers required to assist in outreach and engagement activities for the Jurassic Coast Trust at a pop-up store in Weymouth.
Are you looking to boost your CV with more customer relation / visitor management / outreach and engagement / education experience this summer? Or perhaps looking for an opportunity to share your enthusiasm for geology, palaeontology and the Jurassic Coast with others?
The Jurassic Coast Trust is the independent charity responsible for managing the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. This summer (2024) we are looking for volunteers (2/day) to assist our small team in providing education and outreach to members of the public in a pop-up shop in Weymouth.
The Trust will be delivering palaeontology & geology - themed arts & crafts activities, fossil polishing and general education and engagement about the World Heritage Site. We are seeking 2 volunteers per day to assist the team on Tuesdays and Fridays throughout August. Volunteers do not need to be available for all of these dates/days/times - any voluntary assistance will be welcomed!
