Youth Team Member

This opportunity takes place between 13 Nov 2024 and 23 May 2025

We would love to get or Youth team off the ground, but we don't have any young people currently able to be involved. If you have an interest in the climate change and the environment and would like to be part of setting up a Youth Team within Dorset Climate Action Network then get in touch!

We have various teams within Dorset CAN, covering areas such as Land Use, Energy, Transport - and aspire to have an active youth team who set up their own campaigns and projects suitable to young people. You can be as involved as you are able, working closely with our Action Team  the Youth Team (made up of a small number of young people and guided by mentors from the Action Team), can start to plan things that get more young people on board, that encourage young people to make differences in their lives that make a difference, such as re-using, recycling, working on other projects to grow biodiversity, clean up our rivers, to building a relatnioship with schools in dorset and working to educate children all about what they can do to help the climate - the possibilites are endless!
