Why Join Us?

1. Plenty of networking opportunities with like-minded individuals within and outside the university.

2. We are a community who want to support each other into their STEM careers.

3. We host a variety of fun socials each month to destress you from your studies. In addition, we host academical socials (science trips, study sessions, guest speaker talks). Follow us on Instagram for more details. 

What do we do?

The Womxn in STEM Society is a platform of opportunities for women and non-binary who study STEM subjects. We make sure to inform WiSTEM members of the opportunities that are available after and during university. We provide support and networking opportunities to meet like-minded individuals.

Who can join?

Anyone who identifies as a woman or non-binary and studies a STEM related subject - this can be anything that is categorised under STEM (Science, Technology, Enginering and Maths) ranging from psychology and biomedical science to software engineering and product design! if you are unsure if you can join, send us a message :)

Monthly socials

• Socials and activities hosted a few times a month during the week or weekends.
• Socials that we hosted so far during 2023/24 academic year: taster social at Revs, Boom Battle Bar social, Bangers Bingo at Revs, WiSTEM x Biological Sciences movie night, WiSTEM x Forensic Science movie night.
