Welcome!

Hello there, you have done well to get this far! I am Oliver, I am the President of the Magic the Gathering here at Bournemouth University. Our end goal as a society is to make Magic the Gathering more accessible for Students in BU and AUB. Come join our diverse and friendly society whether you be a beginner in Magic with 0 experience, or if you have been playing for years.

Feel free to attend one of our Magic Mondays to get a feel of what the society is like and if you want to gain access to Deck Building tutoring, events and tournaments sign up, it's a one-off membership fee of £3, like I say our goal is to make Magic the Gathering as accessible as possible for everyone!

What do we do?

Every Monday, we run a games night to play any format, pairing you up with people of the same experience, giving you the opportunity to seek out a challenge or have a chilled laid-back game.

Once per semester we will be running a Drafts Competition, tickets will be £10 for this and only available to Members but you will walk away with a guaranteed deck of your own, with opportunities to win prizes and gain more experience playing! Not to mention, the opportunity to meet likeminded people who love Magic the Gathering as much as you do.

We will also be running Tournaments from time to time, based on demand and participation.

When and Where?

Monday nights at 1800, Talbot campus in Poole House, at the moment, we frequent in P426. We are hopingh to branch out however and get some more events in other rooms on different days!
