Gamers Society

About Us:

A relaxed society aiming to provide a place to socialize and play board, card, tabletop war and video games. You don't even have to be a student to join in with our events! We host in-person and online events through our Discord server. The Discord server also provides a free and diverse play space for you and your friends. Even though we play many well-known games, you don't need to be good at games or know the games beforehand, just turn up and have fun!
We have a variety of games available, you can even request games that the society can buy for members to play. We continue during Holidays (including summer) so you can come any time of year and have a good time!

The socials run on a two-week rota! Week A will include an online night and an in-person social on Talbot Campus. Week B will include an online night and a Jackbox night. (Days will be decided by the results of the survey hosted at freshers and throughout freshers week)

We will be hosting a number of Tournaments over the year! These will include but are not limited to, Mario Kart, Valorant, Wii Bowling, Smash Bro's, etc. Check our discord server for more information on when these events will occur. All Tournaments cost £1 to enter!

Membership:

Our membership for the year is £4

(This money goes directly into buying new games and consoles for the society)
