We are delighted to announce the shortlist for this year’s SUBU Awards.
Hosted by the Students’ Union at Bournemouth University (SUBU), the student-focused awards will recognise and thank those students who have had the biggest impact within the Students’ Union and made an outstanding contribution to enhance the student experience at Bournemouth University (BU).
The awards received nominations from university staff, students and external partners. There are fifteen awards up for grabs, with finalists commended for their contributions to the Students’ Union and the significant difference they have each made to university life.
Holly Tyack, VP Student Opportunities at SUBU, said: “It’s been great to see so many members get involved with their Students’ Union this year. We’re incredibly proud of everyone who’s worked hard to make a positive impact at Bournemouth University, and especially those who have received a nomination for a SUBU Award.
“This is our third year of hosting the SUBU Awards, and we were delighted to receive over 300 nominations for students who have gone above and beyond this academic year. It was incredibly hard to decide on the shortlist, as every single one of these students rightly deserves recognition for their efforts.
“Wishing everyone who has been shortlisted for an award the very best of luck. We look forward to announcing the winners at our SUBU Awards ceremony in a few weeks!”
The winners will be unveiled during a ceremony on Thursday, 9th May at Key West, Bournemouth Pier.
Tickets will be available for students to reserve from Monday, 22nd April. To reserve your space, visit subu.org.uk/awards.
