The SUBU Awards, held by the Students' Union at Bournemouth University, will recognise and celebrate the outstanding work of those students who have gone above and beyond to help shape the Students’ Union.
Students and staff across Bournemouth University (BU) are invited to nominate individuals and groups that have made a significant difference to life at BU this year.
The SUBU Awards will be awarding students in thirteen categories:
- Student Volunteer of the Year
- Clubs & Societies Committee Member of the Year
- Best Newcomer Club or Society
- Club/Society of the Year
- Student Rep of the Year (One Per Faculty)
- Part-Time Officer of the Year
- Outstanding Contribution to Campaigns
- Outstanding Contribution to Student Media
- Best Nerve Outlet
- SUBU Student Staff Member of the Year
A shortlist for each award will be released on Monday 24th April, and winners will be announced during an awards ceremony at Key West, Bournemouth Pier on Thursday 11th May. Tickets for the awards ceremony will be released once the shortlist has been announced.
