Fireworks returned to Poole Quay with spectacular colour and flare last night.
The annual free event was attended by thousands of people to celebrate Bonfire Night.
The display, which was cancelled last year due to social distancing concerns around coronavirus, was enjoyed by a huge crowd.
A party atmosphere was evident as residents and tourists alike flocked to the harbour, as funfair rides such as teacups and trampolines were available for the children and a live band was performing before the display.

The display, which lasted for 15 minutes, lived up to its expected awe. The sky was lit up with radiant colours which pleased the crowds.
BCP councillor Toby Johnson, who attended the fireworks, said: “It’s always an excellent display.
“You only need to look at the sheer number of people who turned out to see it to know that it’s an excellent attraction for Poole.”
Mr Johnson added it is “even more poignant after a year away due to the pandemic” and the “atmosphere was something a little special last night.”

Sam Gale, from Southampton, comes to Poole every year to enjoy the fireworks. He said: “I come every year to watch the fireworks – they’re always a good evening out.
“My kids love it. It was such a shame covid stopped them from happening last year, but Poole hasn’t let down this year.”
