Three-time Grammy nominated singer-songwriter, Joan Armatrading, will appear as a guest on Nerve Radio next month.

The Love and Affection hitmaker will speak on the Folk and Country Show about her latest album, How Did This Happen And What Does It Now Mean.

You can hear the interview on Nerve Radio on Tuesday, December 3, or on catch up following the broadcast.

Joan's album, which she wrote, produced, programmed and engineered, was released today (Friday) and is available to buy now.

Joan Armatrading has been described as one of the UK's great songwriters ever since the release of her debut album in 1972.

The latest studio album is the 21st by the Ivor Novello winner.

Speaking about having Joan as a guest on the Folk and Country Show, Nerve Radio's Jake Curran said:

"It was an absolute honour to speak to Joan Armatrading!

"I'm looking forward to broadcasting the interview very soon.

"It's incredible such a big star was able to appear on our student radio station."

Guests on previous editions of the Folk and Country Show have included Janice Burns and Jon Doran, Fairport Convention's Chris Leslie and Steeleye Span's Maddy Prior.
