Poole Town march on up the league with another win in the Southern League as the hit three past Welsh side Merthyr.
Poole Town enjoyed a fantastic away day in Wales as they beat Merthyr Town 3-0 in the Welsh side's own own backyard on Tuesday night.
Tony Lee took his tally of goals to16 in 14 games and openend the scoring early in the second half at the Met Coaches Community Stadium, tapping home from a Josh Carmichael cross.
Dan Bartlett added a second with 15 minutes to go with a deflected shot that looped over the Merthyr goalkeeper - which in effect killed the game.
The Dolphins rounded off the day with Carmichael turning goalscorer, converting at the back post after a flick on from Will Fletcher put it on a plate for the midfielder.
Merthyr Town had their fair share of bad luck though, with an injury to new signing Corey Shephard occurring just before kick-off.
Poole now move up to third in the table with other teams around them with games in hand and Methyr remain down near the bottom in twentieth as their troubles continue.
Next up for Poole is a top of the table clash with Hayes and Yeading at Tatnam on Saturday.
