Christchurch earned their fourth point of the season as they played out a 1-1 draw against Portland United in the Wessex Premier Division.
Watched by 167 fans at The Camp and Satherley Stadium the two teams shared the points in what might be a vital away point for Christchurch come the end of the campiagn.
Portland United Striker Ben Morris opened the scoring before Luka Charwell equalised for the visitors.
Struggling in the league, Christchurch claim a much-needed point in their pursuit for safety. They now join Amesbury Town on four points and will be looking to climb out of the relegation zone in the coming weeks. Sitting in 19th after 13 games, they are now only five points behind fellow strugglers and local rivals Bournemouth FC.
This result was much improved for Christchurch compared to their previous game, as they lost 9-0 to Shaftesbury.
