AFC Bournemouth will welcome Crystal Palace to the Vitality Stadium on Boxing Day as they look to extend their unbeaten streak.
The Cherries go into the game in fifth, the highest Premier League position they have ever been in at Christmas.
This has been made possible by their recent form of four wins and one draw in their last five games.
Bournemouth also come into the game off the back of an impressive 3-0 win away to Manchester United, on Sunday.
Cherries boss, Andoni Iraola, said: “Right now I value the points, I don’t care about the position, I value that we have 28 points.
“If you gave me two more points but we are 13th, I’d take it right now.
“Points are the most important thing right now, so we have to keep going.”
Crystal Palace come into the game after back-to-back defeats against Arsenal in the Premier League and Carabao Cup.
The Eagles started their season off slowly but have picked up two of their three league wins in recent weeks, including a 3-1 victory over Brighton.
Palace winger, Ismaila Sarr, has three goals and one assist in his last three games and will be looking to continue on his fine vein of form.
Iraola said: “They are going to be a threat, the five players they put forward are top level players.
“We’ll have to be very good, that is the Premier League, it doesn’t change from game to game.”
The Cherries were unbeaten against Crystal Palace last season with a 1-0 and a 2-0 win.
Victory for Bournemouth could see them move up to fourth in the table, depending on other results from the weekend.
