AFC Bournemouth made it six games unbeaten in the Premier League, after a goalless draw with Crystal Palace on Boxing Day.
The Cherries put in a spirited second half performances, but were unable to find the breakthhrough against a resilient Palace defence.
Ismaila Sarr thought he had given the visitors a first half lead, but the goal was ruled out for offside.
The result leaves Bournemouth 6th in the league, ahead of a trip to Fulham on Sunday.
The Cherries came into the game five matches unbeaten and were looking to extend their run.
Crystal Palace on the other hand were coming from two consecutive losses to Arsenal, and looking to distance themselves from the relegation zone.
Andoni Iraola made three changes for Bournemouth as Cook, Unal and Aarons came into the team in place of Evanilson, Smith and Adams.
Crystal Palace also made three changes to their squad, which included Eberechi Eze starting after missing their last game against Arsenal with an injury.
The match started franticly with neither side able to keep the ball away from the opposition.
Justin Kluivert and Eberechi Eze both picked up early yellow cards for separate incidents.
Jean-Philippe Mateta failed to put away a good chance from the edge of the box as a misplaced Ryan Christie pass gave the Palace striker his opportunity.
The Cherries were looking good on the counter attack and in the 20th minute Dango Ouattara found space on the left wing and got his shot away, which fizzed past the far post.
Palace thought they had opened the scoring in the 27th minute, when Sarr slotted the ball past Kepa, however the goal was ruled out as the winger was offside when he received the ball.
The first half ended goalless with both teams having their fair share of chances, but neither making them count.
The second period started fast with multiple big chances in the opening five minutes.
Will Hughes was left on the ground and injured in the 53rd minute and was subsequently replaced by Cheick Doucoure.
Semenyo had a good chance in the 70th minute, after he turned inside the Palace box and got his shot away, however he dragged it wide of the far post.
Bournemouth were relentless in the second half and Philip Billing saw his effort fly wide of the goal, after getting on the end of Lewis Cook’s long ball.
Dean Huijsen was given Man of the Match after yet another impressive display from the young centre back.
The game petered out after the 80th minute with both teams failing to find the breakthrough.
The match finished goalless and now Bournemouth have another quick turnaround as they travel to take on Fulham in just three days time.
