The EFL Championship got back underway following the international break, seeing AFC Bournemouth run rampant in a 3-0 home victory versus Barnsley.
The goal was met with a great cheer around the stadium having eagerly waited for the goals to come as chance after chance was made.
It was a game to forget for Barnsley having come out of the game without a shot on goal, whereas the only disappointment for the Cherries was that they did not score more.
The win sees Scott Parker still undefeated in the first six games of the season and lying 5th in the table.
It was a brilliant way for Bournemouth to regain confidence following the 6-0 loss to Norwich and goalless draw to Hull, as Scott Parker will now be looking ahead to a very difficult tie at home to Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday night.
