Sustainability Screeings : Chasing the Sun

Join us at BU for a creening of 'Chasing the Sun' a documentary film abou the power of the bicyle to help save the planet, including an exhibition and panel discussion.
There will be a BU Bike Fair at this event, where you will have the chance to speak to local organisations including Beryl, Cycle Solutions, the Police, BCP Council, PEDALL, and more, who work to support you to get on bike and feel safe doing so!
you’ll have the opportunity to engage in a Q & A session with our guest speakers:
- Phillipe Webb – Co-director of Chasing the Sun
- Professor Tom Wainwright – BU Professor Of Orthopaedics, and Deputy Head Of the Orthopaedics Research Institute (ORI)
- Joesph McMullen – BU Lecturer in Law, specialising in air quality management and environmental law.
- Amanda Shorey – Travel Planning Officer at BCP Council, Bikeability instructor and Chasing the Sun film contributor
- Beth Barker-Stock – Sustainable Travel Team Leader at BCP Council
Bournemouth University’s new ‘Sustainability Screenings’ series aims to bring our community together to progress the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, by using film as a tool to educate, reflect, and inspire meaningful action.
Chasing The Sun is the new film from 2x BAFTA-winning director Michael B.Clifford.
