There are a number of ways that technology can help support disabled people - this showcase created by your Disabilities, Accessibility and Neuro-Diverse Officer, Andrew, in collaboration with ALS and BU academic staff, highlights some of the software and hardware currently available.
This event is part of Disability History Month and you can find out more about SUBU and BU's plans and how to get involved here.
Event Accessibility
This event is taking place on the ground floor of the Student Centre which is wheelchair accessible. This event is drop in style so you can come and go as you please during the time it is running. For more information on the accessibility of the Student Centre, check out the AccessAble guide on the building. Please reach out to subudemocracy@bournemouth.ac.uk for any questions about the accessibility of this event or if you'd like to attend but struggle accessing events alone, we don't want anybody missing out.
