Join the ALS team for an informative lunch & learn session all about support available to disabled and neurodiverse students. 

We are delighted to be sharing the following information with you all at this event:

  • Access and pathways to university wide support, including ALS and Mental Health services
  • Explanation of the Disabled Student Allowances process, how this translates into supporting students within their journey and what specific support BU offers
  • Provision of useful resources around accessing Assistive technology, some of which will be from the DSA and others which are free using Appsanywhere

Lunch will be provided by SUBU but be sure to select a ticket based on whether you eat meat/fish, are veggie or vegan so we can make sure we have options for you and if you have any further dietary requirements please email subudemocracy@bournemouth.ac.uk 

Event Accessibility

This event is taking place in F305 in the Fusion Building. There is hard seating and an accessible toilet on this floor. For more information on the accessibility of the Fusion Building, check out the AccessAble guide on the building. Please reach out to subudemocracy@bournemouth.ac.uk for any questions about the accessibility of this event or if you'd like to attend but struggle accessing events alone, we don't want anybody missing out.

By attending you will grant SUBU the rights to use the resulting images and videos.
