The Liberation Lounge has a brand new look and we want to invite you to our grand opening to celebrate all things Liberation Networks!
The agenda for the evening is as follows:
5pm - Event starts with a chance to enjoy a glass of bubbly (or a non-alcoholic drink)
5:30pm - Ribbon cutting
5:45pm onwards - Opportunity to explore the space, meet your Liberation Officers, and take part in structured socialising by making yourself a badge or friendship bracelet
7pm - Event ends

Event Accessibility
This event is taking place on the second floor of the Student Centre which is wheelchair accessible. There is padded seating, an accessible toilet and a gender neutral toilet on this floor and a designated quiet space will be available throughout the event and signposted clearly. A note for Neurodivergent attendees - throughout the event, the SUBU Advice reception will be used as a quiet space for those that need to take some time out to decompress. Please reach out to us at subudemocracy@bournemouth.ac.uk if you'd like to attend but struggle accessing events alone, we don't want anybody missing out.
Event Photography & Videography
At the event, photos and videos with be taken. These images will be used by SUBU to share news about our events and publicise them in future. By attending you will grant SUBU the rights to use the resulting images and videos. This may include, but is not limited to, use in printed publicity, social media and on the SUBU website. They will be stored securely. If you would prefer not to be photographed, please speak the event organiser who you will be able to identify with a SUBU staff lanyard..
