SIX INCHES OF SOIL - Sustainability Film Screening

Thursday 27th November 2024 from 4:30pm til 7:30pm

Sustainability Screenings: Six Inches of Soil

Films are one of the best ways to learn about a topic. Six Inches of Soil is a timely film about three new British farmers standing up against the industrial food system and transforming the way they produce food. Regenerative farming practices promote healthier soils, provide healthier, affordable food, restore biodiversity, and sequester carbon. We need to inspire farmers to adopt these practices, and encourage consumers, policymakers, and food corporations to support them. Watch the trailer here!

Following the film screening, there will be a panel discussion where you will have the opportunity to meet and ask questions to some inspiring and influential people heavily involved with this issue, including:

  • Claire Mackenzie – Producer of the film Six Inches of Soil
  • Michael French – Co-ordinator of the Grounded Community project in Boscombe
  • Clyde Jones – Advisor at the Soil Association
  • George Holmes – Director of Arla
