AFC Bournemouth head coach Scott Parker has provided the latest injury news ahead of the EFL Championship away fixture to Preston.

After picking up an illness just before the recent Stoke victory, Phillips has recovered, and Parker confirmed him to be ‘fine’. The centre back will be back in contention to start on the weekend.

Regarding key attackers Anthony and Christie, as with Phillips, both have been involved in training for the last three days and have looked ‘very good’.

But Parker also advised that a decision is to be made for Anthony and Christie.

“A decision is to be made there because they’ve missed a little bit more time. I don’t want to take any huge risk with them, still a lot of football to be played.”

Long-term absentees Robbie Brady and Junior Stanislas remain away from the group as they continue their recoveries with ‘modified’ training.

“Both are on the grass now” Parker confirmed.

“They are working through the stages to get to a level to being involved with the group.
