Britain’s Olympians claimed three gold and two silver medals on day three of the Tokyo Olympics on a day being dubbed “Magic Monday”.
Team GB sit fifth in the medal table with seven medals in total with Chelsie Giles’ bronze in the judo, the other medal from the weekend’s action.
Britain’s men’s gymnastic team fell short of a medal but finished a very respectable fourth in the team event and the women’s hockey team defeated South Africa 4-1 in their second group game in some of the action from day three
