What is the Rep System?
The Rep System ensures that the opinions of ALL students at BU are heard. Whether it is something you want more of, or less of, student feedback through the rep system helps make BU the best that it can be.

Hi, I’m Kate, your Vice President for Education!
I am here to represent you on all education issues that you face during your time here at Bournemouth. I intend to improve the current rep system and ensure that all reps have as much training as they need and have regular training and contact with me all year. My door will always be open. I also aim to ensure that postgraduates, mature, international, part time and partnership students feel included with all things SUBU related.
How do you become a Rep?
Let your programme leader know at the beginning of the year
What’s it like being a Rep?
“Being involved in the Student Rep System has been a challenging experience, but with the help, training and support available it has always been an enjoyable one. The system enables students to gain a more representative reflection of what the students want. SUBU has always been a great support network for the Student Reps and has allowed me to meet some incredible people. I would suggest this role to all students who want to get involved and make a difference”.

If you don’t become a Rep yourself, you’ll still be able to find out who your Rep is and how to contact them on myBU (the student intranet) at the beginning of the year..png)
