SUBU's fundamental role is to be here for you.  Everything the Union does revolves around your needs may it be social, entertainment, advice or representation!

The executive committee are ultimately responsible for everything the Union does.  They are expected to listen to you and find out your views, which then shapes the Union's actions.
 
There are 3 full time Sabbatical Officers and to support them are 12 part time Executive Officers.

The part-time officers are students still studying and the full-time officers are on a sabbatical year. All committee members are voted in to their position by the student boby aka YOU!

For advice and information on anything from housing, finance and employment, to University, consumer, or personal issues, the Student Advice Centre is here to help.  We are completely free, confidential and independent from Bournemouth University, meaning we are here to represent YOU and not defend the University.
